ABOUT DONNA

I’m Donna Weckerly, a professional photographer, visual storyteller, and lifelong resident of Western Pennsylvania. For more than 20 years, photography has been my way of preserving meaningful moments, exploring the beauty around me, and telling the stories of people and places.

My fine-art photography is inspired by nature, history, architecture, and the landscapes of Western Pennsylvania and beyond. From quiet floral studies and intimate macro images to sweeping landscapes and conceptual work, I create photographs meant to bring beauty, reflection, and a sense of connection into the spaces where people live and work.

My work has been exhibited in regional galleries and art shows and is available as professionally produced photographic prints, canvas wraps, and metal artwork. I am also a co-owner of Two Visions Art Gallery, located inside Aluminum City Arts in New Kensington, Pennsylvania.

Preserving personal history is another important part of my work. Through professional photo restoration, I carefully digitize and restore damaged, faded, or aging photographs using modern editing techniques. My goal is to preserve the character of the original image while creating a renewed digital photograph that can be printed, shared, and passed down to future generations.

Although my business is moving more intentionally toward fine-art photography and restoration, I continue to accept a limited number of portrait commissions, including professional headshots, senior portraits, milestone sessions, and special projects.

Beyond my photography business, I am the founder and executive director of the Armstrong County Arts Council. I also provide visual content and social media management for local businesses and nonprofit organizations and teach approachable photography classes for digital-camera and cell-phone users.

At the heart of everything I do is a belief that photographs matter. They preserve our stories, connect us to places and people, and allow meaningful moments to live beyond their time.
